Robert - Lancaster EMS Association
Climbing to the second floor balcony of a building to help a lady in cardiac arrest, pulling a victim from the wreckage of their car, or delivering a new born baby along side the highway are just a few of the experiences I've had while working in EMS. The varieties of situations are endless and I love the challenge of my job. You never know what the day has in store for you and you'll never get bored by the monotony of this career!
Katie - Patient
I was a patient of yours on Good Friday after being involved in a head-on collision on Landis Valley Rd. This card is just my way of saying thank you for coming to my rescue, even though the words or cards fall short of expressing just how appreciative I am for what you did that day. I was so scared after the accident, but I knew I was in good hands as soon as I heard your voice. You and your team made me feel so comfortable and safe and I am so thankful for you. My husband, friends, and I had so many looking out for us that day and we thank God that there are people like you who risk their lives to help others. You are the best and if I ever get the chance to see you again (hopefully under better circumstances) be ready for a big hug!
Thank you, Shawn. You were my guardian angel that day,
With highest regards, Katie Hess
P.S. We are all recovering well! (slowly, but surely)
